All I Want To Do Is Prune Some Trees
At the back of my house there are some trees. Tall trees. They haven't been pruned for at least thirty years and are too big for the garden. So I want to get them pruned. I contacted a local tree surgeon, and was given a quote. A lot of money, but probably reasonable for the amount of work required. They wanred me that I would need to get approval for the pruning, because we are in a Conservation Area. Not to worry, though, it's a free application. So I went to the Scottish Government's ePlanning website and started my free application. And true enough, the application process is free. However, it requires a location plan and I don't have one of those. Helpfully, the ePlanning website offers links to two companies that sell location plans.
